Increase your knowledge, skills, and earning potential with professional development courses at Elmira College.
Elmira College's Office of Graduate and Professional Studies will help you excel forward, whether it is with industry-specific certifications or taking non-degree courses to bolster your skills.
We offer a variety of non-credit professional development courses and certificates designed to assist you as a working professional in strengthening your job skills and meeting continuing education requirements. Visit our Online Programs page to see our current offerings.
You can take classes at Elmira College without officially applying for an undergraduate or graduate degree. If at a later time, you decide to pursue a degree, these classes may be applied towards a degree program. For graduate coursework, only 12 credits of non-degree courses may be matriculated to a degree program.
You can also audit a course with the consent of the instructor. As an auditor, you will be expected to attend classes, complete the assignments, and participate in class discussions, although you are not required to take exams. No credit is given for an audited course.
While you will not need a full application to take an undergraduate course or to audit a course, you will need to complete a full graduate application to take a graduate course.
Acquire the education and professional development you need with the flexibility to fit your schedule.
Elmira College's Continuing Education and Graduate Studies tuition rates and payment plans make taking classes and getting a distinctive degree a valuable way to improve your life.
We look forward to helping you along your educational journey.
